Privacy Policy

Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how Bounce Berry Apps (“we”, “our”, “us”) handles data in the Currency Converter App (the “App”). We design our software to be privacy-friendly. The App has no account system and no login option, and we do not ask you for personal details.

1) Information we do not collect

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location, or other personal identifiers.

The App does not require an account or sign-in.

We do not collect sensitive information (e.g., financial account numbers, health data).

2) Information collected automatically (to keep the app reliable)

We use limited analytics from Google services to keep the App stable and improve performance. This data is not linked by us to your real-world identity and is used only for aggregate usage and quality insights.

a) Firebase Analytics (Google)

Firebase may collect:

• Approximate location (inferred from IP, not GPS).
• Device identifiers (e.g., per-installation/app instance identifiers).
• App activity & diagnostics (e.g., screens viewed, events, crash data).

Purpose: aggregate analytics, stability, and performance insights.

b) Google Play Billing (Subscriptions)

If you purchase a subscription:

Google Play processes the transaction. Purchases are associated with your Google account used in the Play Store on your device.

We receive purchase status signals (e.g., active/expired/cancelled) to deliver subscription benefits.

We do not receive or store your payment card or billing account details.

Billing, refunds, and disputes are handled under Google Play policies. (Google Play)

3) Data sharing

We do not sell or rent any data.

Analytics and subscription-related data may be processed by Google (Firebase/Play) to provide their services to us.

We do not share data with third-party advertisers for ad personalization.

4) Data retention & deletion

Analytics/diagnostic data are retained by Google services for limited periods per their retention settings.

Because we don’t run user accounts or collect personal identifiers, we typically have no data that identifies you directly.

If you want us to request removal of analytics identifiers associated with your device/app installation (where technically feasible), email support@bounceberry.app. You can also clear the App’s data or reinstall the App to reset local identifiers.

5) Security

All communications with Google Play and Firebase occur over encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connections.

We rely on Google’s industry-standard security for storage and processing within Google services.

6) Children’s privacy

The App is for general audiences and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can ensure appropriate deletion.

7) International data transfers

Google’s services may process data on servers outside your country. Where that occurs, data is handled under Google’s privacy and security commitments referenced above.

8) Purchases, restoration, and your controls

The App has no in-app account and no login.

To buy or restore a subscription, you must be signed in to Google Play on your device with the same Google account that made the purchase. This sign-in is handled by Google Play and is separate from the App; we do not receive your Google account password or email credentials.

Your entitlements are restored by the App via the Google Play Billing Library (for example, by checking current purchases at launch). If you don’t see your subscription, ensure you’re signed into the correct Google account in the Play Store and follow Google’s subscription-management steps. (Android Developers, Google Help)

9) Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the App, our practices, or legal requirements. We’ll update the “Last Updated” date when changes are posted.
